Final viewing

Before we head off again, we snuck in to take one more look. There's not much to go - bathroom tiling, paving, kitchen benchtop and tiling, water tank... and a couple of miscellaneous items like door handles, letterboxes and doorbells.

The great thing about this stage in the building process is that there are visible changes every day. The builders must have been sick of us - we visited the house almost daily (sometimes more than once) and spent a lot of time driving around to pick lights, door handles, kitchen tiles and blinds.

Due to unrelated circumstances, I finally got to see the house in progress... and it made me believe it was all worth it. Photos just don't give you the same feel and sense of space and colour.
