The gas is on, the finishing touches are done and the house is now occupied!

So was it all worth it? I think so - ask us again once we've had a chance to live in it.

Now let's hope it's still alive by the time we're back... we've got a Japanese maple, several different herbs, small lime and lemon trees and a variety of ground cover.

We're almost there! The bathrooms are tiled, the kitchen benchtops and tiling are done and the paving is down.

Before we head off again, we snuck in to take one more look. There's not much to go - bathroom tiling, paving, kitchen benchtop and tiling, water tank... and a couple of miscellaneous items like door handles, letterboxes and doorbells.
